How I got a good grade:

[First Semester]
Hello everyone,

I hope you guys are doing well in this pandemic. I am Rumaisha Nowshin, and I recently completed my Information System & Computer (MIS 107) course with of our honourable faculty Mr. Adeyl Khan.

Like anyone else out there, I presume, I was terrified when I began doing my classes as it was my first semester. The faculty recommended that we buy a laptop for flexibility and help ease the pressure of completing our assignments. And so I followed through and bought one the next day. It was true- it made all my assignments easier to complete, and the notes were easier to read on-screen.

I made sure I had a good internet connection to avoid missing (parts of) lectures from the very first day. Reading the book and watching the lecture videos helped me a lot as well. However, what helped me the most was answering bonus questions, completing the bonus assignments, and attending classes every single day.

These bonus marks can be a blessing if you do not do that great in an exam. There are already clear guidelines for everything needed for you to achieve good grades; you just have to study thoroughly and ace it. I am truly blessed for being under such an amazing faculty and classmates, and I cannot thank them enough for guiding me through my first semester.

I hope everyone has a great semester! Best of luck, guys.

How I got a good grade:

Good day everyone,

I wish you good health. I am Sabbir Hasan, and I had the humble opportunity to complete the Information System and Computers (MIS107) course under the honorable faculty, Mr. Adeyl Khan, in the summer semester of 2021. From beginning to end, the course has been intriguing.

The semester was online, necessitating a reliable internet connection and a laptop computer as a primary device and a smartphone/tablet as a backup device. Many of us also relied heavily on cellular data at times of crisis. That said, we all faced our fair share of challenges and what's important is that you prioritize finding solutions rather than complaining about them. This faculty soon became one of my favorites, and I hope you will enjoy the course as much as I did.

To get a good grade, I would request you to keep in mind the following:

1. Do not miss classes, be attentive and responsive throughout.
2. Before exams and while doing assignments; Mind-maps and Lecture-slides will be your savior.
3. Participate in all the bonus opportunities. A complete attendance will also make you eligible for a bonus.
4. Participate in Viva as it allows you to gain insights even if you made mistakes.
5. Always answer questions within the context of an organization and from a managerial perspective, be concise and provide relevant examples in your answers; do not plagiarize.
6. Keep an eye on the "Class Notes" document. (From the website).
7. Do not forget to read the Standard Procedures.

I hope you find this information beneficial. Feel free to hit me up on my Facebook ID if you have further queries. I wish you all the best.

How I got a good grade:

Hello everyone,

I am Sohana Nizam, and I did my ‘Information System and Computers’ course under the supervision of Mr. Adeyl Khan in the summer 2021 semester. He is a very cool and easy-going faculty.

Since I did the course online, I had to make sure I had a stable internet connection and a PC or a laptop. Be punctual regarding classes and even submissions, attend the classes properly, and solve the question banks for quizzes.

For the midterms, I followed the lecture slides and took the help of class recordings. Try to make use of the bonuses as you will find a lot of them throughout the course.

Also, do try to allocate time separately for different courses. If you are serious from the beginning and follow these steps, surely, you will end up with a good grade.

Do feel free to reach out to me if you have any queries

How I got a good grade:

Hello everyone,

I am Abrar Fahad. I completed the Information System and Computer (MIS-107) course in Summer-2021 under the guidance of our honorable faculty Mr. Adeyl Khan, who is undoubtedly one of the coolest and congenial faculty.

Due to the pandemic, I had to do this course online, and one crucial thing is having a proper internet connection and computer (Laptop is preferred).

Regarding exams, make sure you follow the classes and watch the lecture videos from the YouTube channel. Mindmaps solving questions from previous semesters were also very helpful for me. Make sure not to copy from anywhere and make your examples after understanding the topics.

The bonus opportunities can be beneficial for getting a good grade, so make sure to do good in them. Be punctual in submitting assignments and try to get full attendance.

Best of luck :)

How I got a good grade:

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing great. I am Alfi Shaharin Ridita, and I did my MIS107 (Computer Information System) in Summer 2021 under the guidance of our honorable faculty Mr. Adeyl Khan. Alhamdulillah, I was able to snatch an ‘A’.

Mr. Khan is undoubtedly such a cool faculty who made our classes very interesting and much enjoyable. During the whole semester, he has been accommodating and cooperative. If you follow the instructions and attend all the classes, you will get a good grade.

To ace the course, here are some tricks I followed which might also help you to obtain your desired grade-

First of all, I always made sure that my laptop was fully charged before every class, along with a stable internet connection and a working webcam. I used to keep backup mobile data in case of any network disruption. Consult with the faculty member if you have network issues; he'll surely help you find a solution.

A moderately functioning laptop/desktop is strongly advised, particularly for exams, quizzes, labs, and group tasks. If you continue classes using a phone, you might face many difficulties.

I used to watch the youtube lecture videos before every class to stay prepared for the class. Before every exam and quiz, I watched lecture videos, went through the slides, and solved every sample question, which helped me understand the topic better. To solve the questions quickly, I followed the mindmaps, and it’s a LIFESAVER. Throughout the semester, go to the course website, where you will find the necessary study material like slides, lecture videos, assignments, labs, bonuses, grading details, et cetera.

I had the load of two other courses. However, I stayed focused and coped by studying regularly, which helped ease the workload during exams.

Another critical factor that helped me to get a good grade is taking advantage of the bonuses. There are TONS of bonus opportunities throughout the course; try to grab all of them. If you attend all the classes, there’s a bonus for that too- don’t miss that.

I made sure that I was following the guidelines provided so I would not lose out on any marks, especially in the case of group assignments and labs. I would finish my assigned work such as assignments, quizzes, labs, even the exams ahead of time and never leave it for the last second.

Last but not the least, please keep in touch with all your coursemates and form an enthusiastic group which will help you get a good grade in the group project. Stay focused, listen to every detail carefully, and try to understand rather than memorize.

If you think that I can help you with something, feel free to knock me on, and I will try my best to provide any help I can within my limited ability. Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/riditamendes8

Best of luck! Have an amazing semester! :)
