Hello and Asslamualikum
My name is Ahmed Reza, and I am thrilled to share my experience about getting an A in MIS107 with you all. It was my privilege to complete the course with our dearest faculty Mr. Adeyl Khan. Secondly, I really enjoyed the classes and a big thanks to him.
Now ill try to point out some of the pragmatic ideas that might help you get an A or at least a nice grade. Dividing them into Two as:
Class etiquettes:
- Try to be attentive and responsive in every class.
- Try to have your camera on during the class and ensure a reliable internet connection. (Device preferred: Laptop)
- Take help during office hours if you need any.
- Always try to have a positive attitude in the class.
- Before every class, make sure to watch the lecture videos (Youtube). It will help you to understand things better in the class discussion.
What worked for me/ Related Advice:
1. Don't miss out on a single bonus opportunity. (Visit the FAQ section of course website to know about all the bonus opportunities)
2. Don't miss a single class. It will help to get you 3% bonus.
3. Always take the help of Handouts and Mindmaps to answer any question.
4. Don't plagiarise at any cost. ( Please Don't)
5. Study with lecture videos from youtube and connect them with mindmaps to have the best understanding.
6. For lab assignments, since the deadline will be on the same day, please try to start the assignment asap to complete it within due time.
You might find it difficult at first, but don't give up and stay focused. I was doing five courses together, including mis107, in the same semester, and still, I managed to get an A. Everything is possible. Best of luck !!!
