As-salamu Alaykum everyone,
This is Md Ashraful Alam. It was one of my dreams to be in the "Hall of Fame" and, Alhamdulillah, here I am today. I also liked the faculty- similar to other Hall of Famers. It was my first semester, and unlike some other students, I was not afraid of MIS-107. I enjoyed both the classes and the faculty which helped mitigate the fear.
The main topic is my strategy- how I prepared myself for the A. The main one is to follow all the instructions and attend all the bonuses- even if you don't get an A for some unforeseen reason, you will get a good grade.
Some rules or techniques I have followed made me more successful than the other students. These are,
1) Be sure to watch the class lecture before the class starts. Doing this will hopefully make your entire course better.
2) Consider answering questions asked in the class. If you watched the lecture videos, this should be easy.
3) Must attend the bonuses. It is a Must! If you do, you will see magic at the end of the semester.
4) Be positive at all times in class. If you cannot answer a question in the class, try to give a positive answer with intelligence. The "Hand Outs" can help you provide some answers.
5) Read and follow the instructions for all assignments- Quiz, Midterms & Final. If you do not understand something, consider searching on Wikipedia or going to the office during office hours. I found the faculty happy to see you there and rather very helpful.
6) Always take the help of Handouts and Mindmaps to answer questions Questions.
7) The faculty is a little bit strict about his course outline. So, be consistence and don't break the rules.
