How I got a good grade:

Hello everyone,

This is Nahiyan Abrar. I have completed my MIS107 (Information Systems & Computer) with our honorable faculty Mr. Adeyl Khan. He is one of the faculties from whom a student can learn a lot if and only if the student is passionate about gathering knowledge.

A reliable computer (laptop preferable) with all the necessary software is necessary for this course. Get a system with a fast SSD and at least 8GB of RAM in your system, but 16GB is preferable so that all the processes are fast and you will not have to face any problems. And always have backup mobile data so that you can tether upon emergencies.

I am not a student who studies 3-4 hours a day for one course. My only strategy and recommendation for every student taking this course are to be accountable to yourself and never keep any task or revision activities due. And lastly, if you have any confusion, try discussing with your coursemates and then reach the faculty with a proper set of questions so that it is easier for him to explain as well.

And about preparation, watch the lecture videos uploaded on YouTube and keep the revision-procedure continuous to not pressurize in the few days before examinations. Go through the given mindmaps to illustrate the topics taught in class. Remember, it is always better to study smarter instead of studying harder in recent times.

Now let us talk about grades:

  1. I request you not to ignore the bonus marks. The materials help you to learn and boost your grades to a significant margin.
  2. Use critical thinking and analysis to make your answers more professional and stand out from the crowd.
  3. Familiarize yourself with the Canvas LMS to avoid any late submissions and face any problems.
  4. Keep at least 15 minutes in your hand from the mentioned due time to avoid hassle during examinations.

Follow the instructions, and I can assure you that you can learn a lot and achieve a lot in the coming times.
