MIS107 @ 2020 Summer

Hello everyone, 

I am Fardin Kaiser Rudro. I have done my MIS 107 course with our honorable faculty Mr. Adeyl Khan in summer semester 2020. I felt lucky to have a mentor like him. He is a very joyful person and i found the teaching method is clear and easy. 

As you all know summer 2020 semester was done online. So, I used my laptop to attend the classes and always keep backup data in case any internet issues occur. I always went through the video lectures before the classes and noted important topics which helped me in the exams. Class participation is very important for this course. I always tried to participate in the class which helped me to get a good grade. I attended all the classes becauses 100% attendance has a 3 mark bonus. Before the exam I went through the website's question bank and practiced with the sample exams. There were many bonus opportunities to improve our midterm scores which helped me a lot. I tried to complete all the assignments in time, that's why it did not conflict with other courses.

My advice for you guys is to participate in the class and attend all the classes for the bonus mark. You have to go through the video lectures and take notes of important topics for exams. Grab all the bonus opportunities you will get. If you have any kind of confusion about any topic don't hesitate to share those with the faculty. He is a helpful person and available in his office hours. That's all.

 I am Shafqat Bin Shams, I recently completed my MIS107 course under our honorable faculty member Mr. Adeyl Khan. He is an exceptionally a wonderful faculty and I was lucky to be guided by him.

Every individual has their own take about the course, but if you religiously follow the directions, I think it's quite simple. My procedure towards achieving success was quite straightforward because everything was already explained clearly in the course outline.

The lecture videos were also accommodating. Everything regarding the topics were explained clearly in the lecture videos. They were posted a day earlier before the class and it guided me perfectly.

Due to the global pandemic, the whole semester was conducted through online classes, but regardless of all the difficulties, I tried to attend the online classes regularly. There were times I faced technical difficulties for instance sometimes the power was out or the internet was problematic. However, I always joined the class using my mobile phone or laptop through mobile data.

I would recommend having a strong will power and find the passion for studying not only to get good grades but to genuinely understand what you’re studying.

The whole world is suffering from a great problem. But it is very much true that whatever happens, life must go on. I am Md. Mahmudul Islam, I have completed my course MIS107 under our faculty with Mr. Adeyl Khan in the Summer 2020. By the grace of Almighty Allah I got a good grade.

But what I achieved was not only me but also a supportive and helpful course including faculty, CR anf group-mates. Whenever I got stucked I called on the faculty and everytime his directions helped to get rid of the problem.

In this pandemic, it is very much tough to maintain the concentration. I always tried to keep myself calm, stress free, and cheerful particularly during the study. I tried not to study long but in short chucks which I found to be more efficient.

I always tried to get class participation points. It helped me to understand lectures properly. Moreover I never missed one single class and always focused on ‘Bonus’ and Labs.

I am Raisa Raihan, and I have completed the MIS107 course under Mr. Adeyl Khan in the Summer 2020 semester. Since this semester was fully online, we had to face many unforeseen difficulties.

So, here are a few suggestions for a good grade

Firstly, don’t miss class. Since class participation is a big factor in the final grade, it is important to attend class sincerely. To get good participation grades, it is important to watch the lecture videos thoroughly the day before class. Moreover, there are many chances to redeem participation marks by volunteering answers in later classes to improve your grade further, so that opportunity should be taken advantage of as well.

Another important factor that helped me to get a good grade is taking advantage of the bonuses. There are many an opportunities to achieve bonus marks, so always make use of these chances.

Lastly, having proper internet, mic, and webcam is also very important for this course. To overcome any hindrance in class, I always kept backup mobile data.

I am Sabrin Karim Chowdhury and I have completed my MIS107 course with our honorable faculty member, Mr. Adeyl Khan in the Summer 2020 session. The whole journey was truly an amazing experience.

I would recommend you all to watch the lecture videos thoroughly and take notes which will also prepare you for the class participation marks, ask questions in the class and try not to miss any bonus marks! Solving the IOA’s before the quiz, midterms and final also helps! I tried to attend all the classes making sure I had a stable internet connection with a properly working microphone and camera as the whole semester was conducted online.
