Jahidul Islam Riad
Hello Everyone !
I am Jahidul Islam Riad. I have done MIS107 with Mr. Adeyl Khan, the coolest faculty of NSU.
I followed all the instructions, lecture slides, and lecture videos. I also visited him during office hours whenever I had any confusion or question. He was very helpful.
Getting an A was not that hard. Varsity life is all about chilling, but you must study at least 1 hour daily to enjoy your life and stay pressure free. Don't just memorize but try to understand and relate the topic with real life. There will be tons of bonus marks from the faculty, and never ever miss any of them. Even if you bring your laptop to the lab classes, you will get bonus marks. How Cool is that !!!
Do not keep your study, assignments, and reports pending till the deadline. And the most important thing is, "Whatever happens, Keep Your Head Cool as Cucumber."

A.K.M Rafiul Hasan
Hello Everyone,
I'm Rafiul Hasan from the BMD department. It is an honor to share my MIS107 journey with our respected Adeyl Khan.
First, I'm from a whole other department, and it was my GED course. So understanding MIS was a little hard for me. The Business related things aren't from my field. I study microorganisms and bacteria all day long, so I had little idea about how businesses work.
But through this course, the faculty was supportive. He explained the topics easily and interestingly. His labs helped me a lot with MS Excel and MS Access. However, I gave my best and did much hard work to get a good grade, and, Alhamdulillah, I got an A.
If you want a good grade, keep a few things in mind:
- Be punctual.
- Be focused during the classes and ask a lot of relevant questions.
- Ask questions, and he will help solve any problem you may face.
- Don't hesitate to visit the faculty during office hours. He loves to talk with the students on any topic. I found him super friendly and COOL.
Md Ashraful Alam
As-salamu Alaykum everyone,
This is Md Ashraful Alam. It was one of my dreams to be in the "Hall of Fame" and, Alhamdulillah, here I am today. I also liked the faculty- similar to other Hall of Famers. It was my first semester, and unlike some other students, I was not afraid of MIS-107. I enjoyed both the classes and the faculty which helped mitigate the fear.
The main topic is my strategy- how I prepared myself for the A. The main one is to follow all the instructions and attend all the bonuses- even if you don't get an A for some unforeseen reason, you will get a good grade.
Some rules or techniques I have followed made me more successful than the other students. These are,
1) Be sure to watch the class lecture before the class starts. Doing this will hopefully make your entire course better.
2) Consider answering questions asked in the class. If you watched the lecture videos, this should be easy.
3) Must attend the bonuses. It is a Must! If you do, you will see magic at the end of the semester.
4) Be positive at all times in class. If you cannot answer a question in the class, try to give a positive answer with intelligence. The "Hand Outs" can help you provide some answers.
5) Read and follow the instructions for all assignments- Quiz, Midterms & Final. If you do not understand something, consider searching on Wikipedia or going to the office during office hours. I found the faculty happy to see you there and rather very helpful.
6) Always take the help of Handouts and Mindmaps to answer questions Questions.
7) The faculty is a little bit strict about his course outline. So, be consistence and don't break the rules.
I feel happy that I can share my experiences with all of you. I hope it helps. Best of luck to you all !!!

Atika Arjumand
Hello everyone,
I am Atika Arjumand, and I had the opportunity to finish my MIS107 course in my second semester under the supervision of Mr. Adeyl Khan.
As I am someone from a science background and now majoring in Environmental Science, people warned me not to take the course this early and expect a good grade. I didn’t let myself get disheartened.
It was not easy, but the instructions provided came in handy in understanding the course. I studied regularly and interacted in class to clear out any confusion. If you are good at time management and study regularly, you too can secure a good grade, regardless of your background and major.
