How I got a good grade:

Hello everyone,

I'm Rubiyth Beente Ashraf. I've done the course MIS 207 with Adeyl Khan in the Spring 2020. It's gonna be different for you as It's online based course. Don't worry too much as your class monitors at the Facebook group (AYN Support V2) and the fauclty will always be there to help you. Attentiveness and concentration during class is the key to success.

Make sure you are attentive and try to grab all the bonuses. Do not skip any class. Try to concrete during class as much as you can and try to answer all of his questions . Do not take quizzes easily as they can make a big difference. Study the slides and the book carefully. For MCQ make sure you take help from the book first and then try to solve the IOA'S. Do solve all the IOA'S as they helps in midtermsl.

For mid you have to study the slides accordingly solve the previous semester questions as well, you can find the questions in the course website.

Now, Let's talk about the most difficult part- lab. Maybe you can find it easy but for me It wasn’t. Yet don't panic It's not that hard just try to concentrate in the lab class- if you miss something you can always see the video available from the course website.

Now about the group project, make sure you choose your group carefully and do your best, finish it on time and you're good to go.

About the assignments all I can say is do it on time, don't copy it from anywhere otherwise you know about the consequences. Try to take help from the book and if you don't understand anything ask your faculty to help you- email him and he will respond.

I missed A because of my silly mistakes but I hope you will get an A. Just work hard and put your 100%. If you don't understand, call/email your faculty, ask your CR or you can always post it on the facebook group (AYN Support V2) group.

Or if you need any kind of information or help mail me "rubiythbeenteashraf500@gmail.com".

Good luck for your semester, don't panic You'll do amazing. Best wishes.

How I got a good grade:

Hello,

I’m Syeda Maliha Azim and I completed MIS207 under the guidance of Mr. Adeyl Khan in the Spring of 2020. While doing this course, mid-semester we were hit with a global pandemic and as we are not familiar with these new circumstances, it is natural to face some hurdles while trying to adapt. Here are some things that helped me manage my studies and online classes during the global crisis; along with some tips on how to get a good grade in this course:

This pandemic is an unusual situation for us to be in and it is causing stress and anxiety among many students; so it is important to try to stay as level headed as possible for our own mental health. I did so by taking occasional breaks from everything (avoiding news and studies) for a couple hours for peace of mind. Maintaining a proper routine for studies and a good sleep schedule is tremendously helpful too; it also takes down course load when you are up-to-date on your deadlines.

As for the course MIS207, the faculty will give ample opportunities for a student to get a good grade through many bonuses. Try to get as many as you can because it helps boost your grade and keep you ahead of other students. Attend all the classes (there’s a bonus for it too). In case you miss a class, you can find the recorded class on the course website. To do well in Midterms and Final, going through slides and practicing the questions from previous semesters will be very helpful. Not all IOAs are mandatory, but do all of them as you will find similar MCQs in the exams. Keep an eye out on the course website for any updates or announcements.

These are the things I did in the course which helped me get my desired grade. I hope this will be helpful for you too, and you end the semester with the good grade you worked hard for. If you feel you need any further help, join the Facebook group ‘AYN Support v2’.

How I got a good grade:

Hello guys,

Hope you all are doing great. I am Mahmudul Hasan. I did my MIS207
(E-business) course with our honorable faculty member Mr. Adeyl Khan in
the Spring, 2020. This course will help to understand the management behind
E-business processes some of which you already use in your everyday life.
Some of the topics are in-depth. Try to relate it with your life
experiences than be afraid of the course.

I’ll be telling the things what I did throughout the semester, which you
can reciprocate to achieve your desired grade in this course. These
reflects my study patterns too.

Be serious and study regularly from the beginning:
That's important, really. Once a lecture is done, review the subjects
addressed there, ideally on the same day, as quickly as possible. Don't
stack them before the test to research them at once. Confide in me, you
will see that you are progressing at a good speed if you follow this.

Attend the IOAs/ Quizzes with attention
. Typically, these little assessments describe at least 80 percent of
questions or forms of questions. Make sure that you know the answers to
these questions.

Try to understand the concepts rather than memorizing:
In this course, many students do this a lot. When you just try to follow
the slides, I found that the topics are simpler. You may link to Google /
YouTube for this from the book or even better. You're going to quickly
understand. You'll probably lose or scramble everything in your brain if
you memorize without understanding. During office hours, you can speak with
the faculty if you're unable to understand any lectures.

When doing group assignments
: Keep it clear and do not include information in your report that are not
needed by the task subject. This reduces the points. Strong cooperation is
needed for good when performing group tasks. Select a group leader, divide
the tasks between the members; select who will deal with what subject, and
you will see that the results are good. Google Would You Should Use.

Lab Class:
Try to attend all the lab classes as you can learn many things and also
there is a submission after each lab. If you were unable to understand the
lab class, you can watch videos about the particular topic, which is
uploaded in the website.

Solve sample questions before an exam
: Make sure you solve the preceding before a mid or final exam. Reference
questions for the semesters from the website of the course. Many of the
questions are often asked and you get used to the pattern. This is one of
my reason for which, I got a good grade as I had a good idea of the
question pattern.

Cooperate as much as possible with the faculty
: Got any problem related any topic? Just go to the faculty with all your
questions and seek responses or instructions for each of the working hours.
Prepare your GA's draft copy and tell the staff if you're in the right
direction. This saves precious time. The same is true of the lab class as
well.

Try to get as much bonus as possible
: Review and attempt to accomplish each of the incentive policies of the
staff from the course site. You'll see how they help you get your
certification better. Attempt to maintain your presence pleasant. For lab
class, carry a laptop-the experiment will be finished quicker and you will
earn a bonus. Try to solve a question of the previous semester and show it
to the faculty before mids and final as you will get good marks if you do so. Bonus
marks are very easy to get and I would say don’t miss the opportunity.

Before an exam:
Review the slides and the questions you need, make sure you know. So if we
answer specific questions, only what is critically needed in the problem
(point by point). Develop and describe a mind map. You're going to get good
marks if you do so.

Online Class
: As the Semester of Spring 2020 was, half conducted in the classroom and
the rest half was, conducted via online. To be honest, we were a bit
worried about how online class will be treating us but the faculty made the online
class very easy for us and interacting. We did not face any kind of issues
and if we would face any issues, we could directly contact with the faculty via an
email. The faculty also did arrange virtual office hour for those who had queries.
So, all in all the online classes was conducted smoothly.

These are also some of the steps, I have taken that have helped me to
achieve "A-". You should try to do that, too. Only study hard and
regularly. So believe in yourself, above all. Godspeed!

How I got a good grade:
Assalamualaikum Everyone,

This is Zarin Tassnim, and I have completed the Ebusiness (MIS207) course
during spring ’20 under our honorable faculty Mr. Adeyl Khan (Ayn).
Due to the covid19 pandemic, more than 60% of the semester was completed
online.

It has been a bittersweet journey being guided by the faculty throughout
the entire semester, and I got to learn a lot of productive and profitable
topics. The course is not easy, but if you maintain the guideline
provided, you will be able to achieve your desired grade. It is a
core course on Ebusiness, which needs more understanding of online
research and real-life application.

Attendance
: I tried my very best to attend every class possible. Let it be an online
class or physical class I was always on time. The faculty encourages class
participation and punctuality a lot. At the end of the semester, you might
as well get bonus marks for full participation.

IOAs
: Attending all the IOAs will be a smart decision since it will give you a
higher possibility to earn a better grade, and the mid and final MCQs come
from IOA questions mostly.

Mid/Finals
: We didn’t have any physical final exams due to online classes. We had one
mid, and most of the broad/short questions come from sample questions, and
MCQs come from IOAs try to solve them more. Try to solve diagram-based
questions from the slides. Solve sample questions during the solve class.
It will give you bonus marks.

GA/Term Project:
Try to do GAs professionally. Choose your team members wisely. Try to
show more creativity and follow sir’s instructions properly. If you have
any queries visit him during office hours, he will be glad to help you. Our
final assignment was based on online research. The faculty was very understanding
and held an entire 1.5hrs session to make us understand how to complete the
assignment. Try to attend all the bonus presentations and GAs
because we all know in NSU 1 or 2 marks bonuses matter a lot.

Lab class:
I experienced both online and physical lab, which was an excellent
opportunity for me. Try to attend every lab class possible. We didn’t have
any exams, but there was an online session, and I tried my best to present
and submit everything sir asked for more professionally.

Final assignment:
I started to work on my MIS207 final assessment before any other courses
because it needs more attention and study. Do not plagiarize any of your
writings. Try to understand what sir is asking for. Read the topics from
the book and online carefully and write on your own. Do your better
judgment considering your answers.

Always try to earn bonus marks. The CRs are really helpful, seek help from
them. Always try to follow sir’s guidelines strictly, and you’re good to
go. Best of luck. For any further queries or advice feel free to contact me

How I got a good grade:

Greetings everyone,

I hope you are in good health. I am Kowshik Ahmed Fahim and I have done the course, Ebusiness (MIS207) with Mr. Adeyl Khan in the Spring 2020 semester. This is the second time I am writing here, and I wish you very good luck who are reading this. Follow few steps and you’ll also be ended up getting a very good grade and featured in the Hall of Fame.

Though we started the course very normally but the sudden lockdown because of the pandemic, we’d to shift to the online classes and complete the course totally from home. Understanding the situation the faculty reduced the workload compared to previous semesters. So it became easier to get a better grade.

As this semester, Summer 20, the course will be totally online-based do not panic. Actually you’ll get more learning & researching opportunities. If you can work smart & efficiently, you’ll definitely get a grade you desire. You need to be focused and organized with your activities. Don’t try to neglect the importance of the classes as now you can do anything during the class. Be pro-active, ask questions through comment box, be responsive, and keep 100% attendance with proper attention. If you face any difficulties do not hesitate to email the faculty or scheduling an online meeting. The faculty is very friendly and his classes are very fun and interactive if you pay attention to the class. I found the faculty very cooperative. So, do not hesitate to ask him for advice if you get stuck anywhere in the course.

I will talk about some tips and tricks that helped me throughout the course. I’ll keep it short & to the point so that it can be easier for you to understand.

Google Classroom, Meet & Attendance: Faculty post every notice & assignment here. You’ll find all the important resources here too. You have to submit your task via google classroom. So keep your notifications on. Do not miss classes, be on time & attentive to the class. I can’t stress this point enough. A lot of information is given in every class, so if you miss a class there will be a big gap in your understating of the chapters. Also, there is a hefty bonus for having full attendance at the end, so be sure not to miss out on free marks. Keep notes of the various diagrams the faculty shows. Faculty will provide you a mind mapping software, always collect the mind map as they will help you get a summary of the topic at a glance. Do not hesitate to answer the sudden questions he will ask, even if you’re wrong. It’ll only help you further your knowledge.

Course Website: This will be your bread and butter for this course. Learn the ins and outs of the course website at your earliest convenience. This is where you will get all the updates about the course. All the slides, IOAs, assignment, lab and bonus details will be delivered to you through the website. So, do keep a regular eye on the course website throughout the semester.

IOAs: Solve the IOAs as soon as they are posted on the website. Though we had only two IOAS, I am not sure about this semester. But you should not miss the IOAs.

Lab Work: Labs are generally very simple and easy to follow. And you’ll get complete advantage of online classes as our faculty share the recorded class on the course website. Just follow the instructions and you will be good to go. But if you are having difficulties, be sure to come forward with your problem.

Group Assignments: Be sure to choose your group mates carefully. Try to maintain a constant back and forth communication with them. Because online GAs are fun. Use google docs, slides & spreadsheets to work with your team. The faculty is very critical while checking group assignments so a lacking part can be detrimental to your GA grade. To avoid any lacking in your GA talk to the faculty during an office hour, share your assignment before the deadline, and ask for the support. The faculty will point out your lackings.

Sample Questions: Solve the sample questions from the previous semesters before MIDs & Final Assignment. You will get a very good idea about the short and broad question patterns. And you’ll get most of the common. We got Mid1 Bonus for bringing a solved sample question in this review class. The bonus was easy. As the faculty go through the last semester’s sample questions and discuss how to answer them.

Exam & Assignments: We attend the Mid1 offline but our Mid2 & Final was counted from our final assignment. The final assignment was so easy. There were only five questions and we had enough time to research & answer. A simple trick answering any broad question: Do your mind map & consider five dimensions. If you can write the answer to the point you’ll get the 100% marks. Be precise with your answers, do not write unnecessary literature.
In Mid1 we answered short questions, which were mostly diagram based. So, practice the necessary diagrams beforehand. Participate in the labs & GAs to answer broad questions perfectly.

Bonuses: I must say NEVER MISS A BONUS! There are a lot of opportunities to get bonuses throughout the semester. So, be sure to keep an eye out on the course website and in class for any notice about them. Bonuses generally involve easy and simple tasks. These will add up and make a considerable contribution to your final grade.

Finally, my advice would be to simply enjoy the course. Of course, the world is in a different situation right now but we should keep moving on with the new norm. Think about the better side of this online semester, you don’t have to waste time on traffic jam. You got more time to build yourself. Keep learning & growing! Don’t get stressed out about anything. Approach the course with an open mind and have fun. Remember, what you get always depends on your dedication and willingness to put in the work.
