Tanjeen Tamanna
Assalamu-alaikum everyone,
I hope all of you are doing well during this pandemic. I am Tanjeen Tamanna, and I completed the MIS207 'E-Business' course under the supervision of Mr. Adeyl Khan during the Summer 2021 semester. Firstly I would like to thank our honorable faculty for being the most amazing teacher.
To do well in this course during this pandemic, one needs to have a stable internet connection, a working laptop, and follow classes regularly. I attended all the classes, kept backup internet facilities, and also studied regularly. Whenever I faced any problem, I watched the lecture videos and asked questions during and after class. I took every single exam and lab class seriously. It's indeed possible to earn a good grade only if you study and maintain consistency.
Thank you, best of luck, everyone.
Fahima Mahagabin Shathi
Hello everyone,
I am Fahima Mahazabin Shathi. I have completed my E-business (MIS-207) course under the guidance of Mr. Adeyl Khan in the semester of Summer 2021, and, Alhamdulillah, I have got an A grade.
I always kept a backup internet connection via mobile internet to join the class immediately in case of internet problems. I used to keep the laptop battery fully charged before a class and kept on charging during the class to continue in case of a power failure.
From the very first, I have followed class instructions strictly. The instructions are pretty detailed and were explained at the starting the course. I found those instructions are the best way to proceed.
I have attended all the classes, which helped me immensely as I didn’t miss any topic. I used to see each video lecture of the next day’s topic from the YouTube playlist. During the class, I tried to concentrate on the class lecture and participate in the discussions. Later, I reviewed the slides, and, in case of confusion, I went through the class recording again. In case of further problems, I have contacted the faculty at the next office hour.
The course materials are pretty organized. All the contents are available through the course website. There are a lot of options for bonus marks for the labs, midterms, and finals. I tried to grab those options every time. If you can review the lectures on the same day of the class, there will be no pressure during the exams, and it will make managing other courses easier.
Question patterns of the exam are discussed before each exam with previous semesters’ questions. These helped me prepare by getting relevant information beforehand. I wrote my answers and did not copy during the exams, and this should be followed strictly as I understand some students got penalized for copying.
Lastly, I found the faculty to be very friendly, cooperative and expect nothing but professionalism from you. Get to work and enjoy the ride.

Ishfar Quaderi
Hello everyone,
I hope you are dealing with the pandemic well.
I am Ishfar Quaderi, and after doing MIS107 (Computer Information System) in the Spring’21 semester, I felt fortunate to have done another course, MIS207 (E-business), under Mr. Adeyl khan in the Summer’21 semester. This was undoubtedly one of the courses that I thoroughly enjoyed during the semester, as the classes were highly engaging and not monotonous.
This course is made easier with an easily graspable teaching method, and the faculty motivated us, keeping our morale boosted throughout. I want to share with you all how I managed to emerge with an A in this course.
I consider our generation of people to be multitaskers, most of us doing extra-curricular activities and part-time or full-time jobs alongside our studies. Therefore, studying needs to be smart and focused on passing with a good grade (the result).
Firstly, it is vital that you have proper access to a laptop paired with a reliable internet connection throughout the semester. I made sure I had backup devices and an internet connection to avoid missing valuable lectures and, most importantly, interruptions during the exams.
Secondly, preparing for this course doesn’t require much, just a few hours from your day and an uninterrupted environment to study. Throughout the course, by keeping in mind the advice given by Mr. Khan, I dedicated 6 hours a week to this course. The time varied a bit depending on the amount of course material I had to cover. While studying for the course, the course website( www.adeyl.com), which is the hub of all the course-related information, guided me. I watched the lecture videos on YouTube while simultaneously going through the mind maps in another window (multi-tasking).
I practiced for the exams even before the exam announcement date by downloading the sample questions from the course website. This makes studying effective and prepares you rigorously for the midterms and the final.
It is essential that you do not fall behind watching the lecture videos and attending classes because once you miss one, you lose track of the syllabus, and you will fall behind. This will hamper the flow of your education and reflect on your grade. One piece of advice from my end would be to finish each day’s study material on time and make small notes while attending classes to help while revising for exams. To balance all the courses properly, you can follow a simple To-do list by allocating time to each course and prioritizing according to deadlines.
Additionally, attaining maximum marks in the bonus quizzes before Midterms and the Finals by practicing the question bank along with full attendance will help to boost up your grades by the end of the semester.
Finally, you will shine through the course with diligence, perseverance, eagerness to learn, and a moderate amount of class participation. For any help regarding the MIS courses, you may reach out to me

I wish you all the best of luck, and I hope you have a great semester ahead. And you have my Best wishes!
Syed Nabil Ahsan
Hello everyone,
Take my salaam and sincere greetings. I hope everyone is staying safe and well in these trying times. I am Syed Nabil Ahsan, and I have done MIS207 (E-business) under Mr. Adeyl Khan in my Summer ‘21 semester. Fortunately, COVID 19 has been tamed and contained, and I hope to commence our offline classes very soon. However, one of my fondest memories of online courses at North South University will be completing this course under Mr. Khan. He has paid homage to his ‘coolest faculty’ label throughout the course, and I found him a supportive teacher and a kind human being as well.
A good grade is a no-brainer, and it reflects your perseverance and diligence in your studies. Without boring you all with monotonous and recurrent advice, I would like to share my unique course experience and how I navigated around my objectives.
It is imperative that you have access to a laptop, a decent bandwidth, and a contingent backup power supply. As the campus is in the works of re-opening eventually, it is vital that you have access to all these essentials to be up to speed even without online classes.
In general, I am a very anxious person, and enrolling in online semesters when the future seems bleak, adds to it. Yet with the instructions, I was able to study by aligning my studies. I am a sole believer in working smart, and I studied this course for 2 hours daily or every other day. I watched the informative lecture videos and read the slides in another window. The course website www.adeyl.com (all resources) is where I got most of the information I needed. That’s it!
Before exams, I went over the mind maps, which gave a jumpstart to my (muscle!) memory. In simpler words, it is all about the work you put in beforehand.
Getting a good grade is challenging, yet once you train your mind for determination, the rest of the work falls into place.
Firstly, it is important to attend class lectures attentively and revising the materials later. To have a competitive advantage over other students, consider researching, reading online articles, and keeping up to date with the technology.
Secondly, practicing sample exams, understanding mind maps and slides are equally important. Moreover take advantage of midterm bonuses by attending bonus quizzes before the midterm and Final exam; prepare by revising the Question Banks. In addition, a full attendance will award you a +3 bonus at the end of the semester.
Thirdly, you can also browse through Investopedia, Bloomberg, and business articles on the internet to have a steady flow of knowledge seeping in.
Lastly, some class participation (asking questions or answering them) will help you will earn a good grade.
Before concluding, I would like you to never give up on yourself at all costs. It will sometimes feel like the weight of the sky crashing down on you, and your future is blurry at best. However, keep your head high, even when you are in the most bottomless abyss of failure. It is always good to take a break from studies until you feel recharged. Make mistakes gracefully, and chase self-development and your passion. As I have said earlier, train your mind and be a better version of yourself than yesterday, and you will see results. Above all, do not lose hope.
I am a sophomore at North South University, and it will be my honor to guide newcomers with MIS207 and anything in between. You can find me on

Syeda Rifah Tasnia
Hello everyone!
I am Syeda Rifah Tasnia, and I had the wonderful opportunity to complete the Ebusiness (MIS207) course under the guidance of Mr. Adeyl Khan in the Summer 2021 semester.
It has been some time since we shifted to the online platform, and I've learned that the most crucial aspect of online classes is to have a stable internet connection and backup data (in addition to your laptop).
To get a good grade in this course, here are some useful tips that recommend you to follow,
1. Watch the youtube videos (Lecture Videos) before the class. The videos will help you understand the topic better and clear out any confusion during class.
2. Mind maps are a lifesaver. Be sure to look through them.
3. Make sure to have a full attendance record as it gives you an extra opportunity to get a good grade.
4. Participate in all the bonus opportunities you get.
5. Look through the Question Banks before quizzes to score good marks.
6. Questions similar to the ones given in the Midterms and Finals are always discussed beforehand; be attentive in class so that you don't miss it.
Good luck :)
